Contemporary Hollywood Cinema 1

Contemporary Hollywood Cinema is an interesting module. We watched Hail, Caesar! which is an ok film, however it is a lazy Coen brothers film. We studied star theory, but to be honest it was a bit slow and probably could have been about half an hour. Hopefully that’s just because it was the first week and the course will pick up. However, quite a few of the required screenings aren’t very good films, so that’s worrying.
