Dealing with Writers

The latest producing class wasn't quite as interesting as the last, but there were still a few good things. Here are my notes:

-Script is everything!

-Adventures in the Screen Trade by William Goldman

-Definitely worth seeking out interviews with writers you like

-“You don’t want to be rude, but you do have to be careful - there are a lot of strange people out there.” (Cliff Robertson on showing people your work)

-Nobody Knows Anything is also very good

-When reading someone’s script, always clarify writer’s intentions if you’re unsure about something
