After extensive location scouts, these are the ideal locations for most of the film. Ruth is adamant that we use Bonaly Scout Camp as our base, but I haven't managed to find all of the locations nearby. However, some of them are.
River - Bonaly Reservoir
This is a bit of a trek away, but it's gorgeous. This is absolutely the ideal location. Ellis can stalk Sonny from the tree-line and sneak up on him.
Campsite
The forrest we found was very near the scout camp. It felt dense and had the right type of tree that I was looking for.
