I met with Kirsty again in order to further discuss the design of the bunker. We seem to be one the same page with it. Here is what we came up with. I'm genuinely really happy with it. I think it's realistic enough that it should suspend the audience's disbelief. However, I think it's also quite practical for filming in.
We made sure to keep the garage space we have in mind while we were planning the bunker, so we are sure that it will be practical to put together. It's definitely an improvement on what Aaron and I where thinking in the writing process!
Kirsty thought it might be nice to add a scarf from a football team as a personal touch. I'm not sure about this; I think it might be a little bit cheesy and obvious. However, she wanted to add a rug to the space, and I think this would make it much warmer and homely feeling. It's exactly the sort of thing Tom would have. I really liked it.
We're bunkering along nicely!
