I met with Kirsty in order to discuss the production design. The film was obviously going to be a big undertaking from a production design point of view, but I really wanted to establish a collaboration.
Firstly, I'd like to look at Tom himself. I want him to appear practical more than fashionable. Here is a sample of the mood-board I gave Kirsty:

The bunker had to be put together. I had a rough idea of the layout of the bunker while writing the film, but I really wanted to work with Kirsty to put it together. This is a drawing Aaron and I did during the writing process.
I wanted the bunker to feel lived-in, but very well looked after; after all, Tom would have a lot of time for tidying and cleaning! Here is a sample of the mood-board I gave her.

Finally, the flat should look lived in, but definitely less well looked after in comparison to Tom's bunker. It should feel like things had been left sitting for a long time. Another difficulty is practically how we would hang a body.

So that'll about do it. Hopefully Kirsty has a much clearer idea of the direction I want to take the film. She should be able to come up with something interesting.
